Thanks to BIO ARCHITECTURE we wanted to realize in Gressoney, under Monte Rosa, the Ellex hotel, an hotel in harmony with the environment, to ease the well-being of the guest.

The purpose was to use natural materials as stone, brick, wood, cork and to avoid the chemical products that can pollute the interior of buildings. The floor are in sold wood, nailed without using synthetic glues.

The location has to assure the healthiness and the comfort of the guests: sold wooden roof, natural cork as insulating, traditional plaster without chemical mixtures.

Besides we tried to respect the environment reducing the energy waste, using solar energy, a good building insulation and taps to reduce the water waste.
