The restaurant Telcio - Monte Rosa, faces the Valle del Lys with a breathtaking panoramic view.
The premises are a warm and welcoming refuge with the ceiling in old beams, walls covered in wide wooden fir panels and furnished with wooden tables and benches.
The intimate and inviting atmosphere is reflected in the traditional specialities on offer: lardo, mocetta, tomini cheeses and sweet chestnuts, and among the starters cheese and ham-filled pancakes, Savoy cabbage soup with bread and fontina cheese, cheese fondue and wild game sauces; among the typical second courses “carbonada”, a meat casserole, chamois in civet with mushrooms cooked in oil, garlic and parsley, with rustic-style polenta; the desserts are all home-made: tarte-tatin, raspberry mousse and fruits of the forest tarts.
Of course, these are to be accompanied by local wines, among them Blanc de Morgex and de la Salle, Torrette and Chambave Rouge.
